As a small business owner with a healthy blogging strategy, it’s helpful to use a rank tracking tool to check how you’re doing with your keywords on your website. 📈

It’s my honest recommendation for a tool I’ve found really helpful in my small business.
Before I really got interested in SEO, I’d write a blog post and then cast it into the ether. Now, I know the importance of doing keyword research then following it up with creating blog posts and tracking how they rank.
You can see where your strategy falls short and where you may need to retarget certain blog posts if they fail to land or rank how you’d hoped.
I have learned so much about how search and ranking actually work, simply by tracking my keywords and watching what happens when I make changes or as a result of algorithm updates.
Losing keywords in the SERPs can be hugely detrimental to small local businesses, whose content and sales pages may bring in hundreds of eyeballs if done right.
If something isn’t right with your rankings, you need to know about it without having to manually check how each keyword is doing!
